Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of N K Industries, Adhunik Industries, Guj Mineral Dev., Uniinfo Telecom Serv and Ajmera Realty, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 177.5 points up at 19689.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Themis Medicare, Baid Leasing, Accuracy Shipping, Winsome Yarns and Rajesh Exports, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 45 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Adani Ports SEZ, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and Adani Ent. were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Cipla, Dr. Reddys, TCS and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 566.97 points up at 66079.36.

Traders piled up positions in Mining, Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Real Estate and Shipping sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Power, Building Materials, Construction and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
