Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of ITI Ltd, Eimco Elecon, CARE Ratings, Oriental Hotels and Manoj Vaibhav Gems N, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 141.15 points down at 19512.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Steel Exchange, Ace Integrated Solut, SVP Global, ideaForge Technology and Shree Ram Proteins, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 6 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, HCL Tech, Tata Consumer, HUL and TCS were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Life, M&M and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 483.24 points down at 65512.39.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Leather, Rubber, Metals - Non Ferrous and IT Software sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Power, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Learning & Education and Shipping sectors during the day.
