Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tarmat Ltd, Metro Brands, Cords Cable Ind, Filatex India and HLV Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 109.55 points down at 19528.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as ideaForge Technology, FutureLifestyleFash, Ratnaveer Precision, PowerGrid Infa InvIT and Adani Gas, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 13 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, L&T, Titan Company, Bajaj Finserv and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, Maruti Suzuki and Dr. Reddys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 316.31 points down at 65512.1.

Traders piled up positions in Leather, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Tourism & Hospitality and Construction sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Power, Building Materials, Industrial Equipment and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
