Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Bedmutha Ind, Quick Heal Tech, Mazda Ltd, MCX India and Pilani Invest, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 192.9 points down at 19523.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as HAL, Sahaj Fashions, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai, Nuvama Wealth Manage and FutureLifestyleFash, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 6 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, Power Grid, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, LTIMindtree, Divis Labs and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 610.37 points down at 65508.32.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Construction, Miscellaneous and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Banks, Building Materials, Power and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
