Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of PNB Gilts, Nelcast, Sonu Infratech, HUDCO and IFCI, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 68.1 points down at 19674.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Yasons Chemex Care, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai, Jalan Transolutions, FutureLifestyleFash and Dangee Dums, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Maruti Suzuki, SBI, M&M and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while Dr. Reddys, Wipro, Cipla, Bajaj Auto and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 221.09 points down at 66009.15.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Construction, Mining and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Power, Term Lending Institutions and Building Materials sectors during the day.
