Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Photo, KSB, Dishman Carbogen, Nava Bharat Vent. and AVG Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 159.05 points down at 19742.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as FutureLifestyleFash, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai, Pramara Promotions, Penta Gold and Vaxtex Cotfab, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddys, Asian Paints and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, ICICI Bank, Cipla, SBI and IndusInd Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 570.6 points down at 66230.24.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Irrigation & Allied Services, Shipping, Holding Company and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Term Lending Institutions, Power, Petrochemicals and Sugar sectors during the day.
