Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of KIOCL, IOB, PTL Enterprises, UCO Bank and Ramco Systems, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 59.05 points down at 20133.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as J B Chemicals, Setubandhan Infra, Viaz Tyres, Penta Gold and Ratnaveer Precision, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Titan Company, M&M, HDFC Life and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, HDFC Bank, Adani Ports SEZ, Bharti Airtel and Dr. Reddys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 241.79 points down at 67596.84.

Traders piled up positions in Holding Company, Glass, Gems and Jewellery, Mining and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Trading, Power, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
