Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of SJVN, Ircon Intl., ITI Ltd, Vikas Ecotech and Vikas Multicorp, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 176.4 points up at 19996.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SS Infrastructure, Penta Gold, CMI Ltd, Sahaj Fashions and Atam Valves, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 46 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 4 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Adani Ent., Power Grid, Apollo Hospital and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Coal India Ltd, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, L&T and IndusInd Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 528.17 points up at 67127.08.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Telecommunications, Term Lending Institutions, Power and Sugar sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Electric/Electronics and Rubber sectors during the day.
