Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Ind-Swift Labs, Fidel Softech, Udayshivakumar Infra, FACT and Orient Paper, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ind-Swift Labs, Fidel Softech, Udayshivakumar Infra, FACT and Orient Paper, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 36.15 points up at 19611.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bombay Metrics Suppl, SS Infrastructure, Penta Gold, Redtape L and PowerGrid Infa InvIT, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, Divis Labs, Bharti Airtel, Cipla and HDFC Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Axis Bank, Hindalco, Tata Steel, NTPC and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 100.26 points up at 65880.52.

Traders piled up positions in Paper, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Sugar and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Term Lending Institutions, Electric/Electronics, Irrigation & Allied Services and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
