Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vishnu Prakash R Pun, MMTC, Century Extrus, Indian Card Clothing and KIOCL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 46.1 points up at 19574.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bombay Metrics Suppl, Shrenik, Penta Gold, Sanco Industries and Allcargo Terminals, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 33 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, Coal India Ltd, Sun Pharma, BPCL and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers during the day, while UltraTech Cem., Dr. Reddys, SBI Life, Maruti Suzuki and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 152.12 points up at 65780.26.

Traders piled up positions in Trading, Mining, Telecommunications, IT - Hardware and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials, Industrial Equipment and Petrochemicals sectors during the day.
