Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aeroflex Industries, Manugraph India, HLV Ltd., Hercules Hoists and North Eastern(PP), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 93.65 points down at 19253.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as TCNS Clothing, Allcargo Terminals, Penta Gold, Vedanta and SS Infrastructure, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 13 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, HDFC Life, Titan Company and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, BPCL, Eicher Motors and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 255.84 points down at 64831.41.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Electric/Electronics, Engineering, Cables and Consumer Durables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Shipping, Building Materials and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
