Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Gokaldas Export, Krishna Defence, A G Universal, Aristo Bio-Tech and Orient Press, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Gokaldas Export, Krishna Defence, A G Universal, Aristo Bio-Tech and Orient Press, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 36.6 points up at 19342.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as The Mandhana Retail, Steel Exchange, Penta Gold, Vasa Retail & Overse and Omaxe, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, UPL, Adani Ports SEZ, Hero MotoCorp and Tata Steel were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, HUL, Axis Bank, RIL and Dr. Reddys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 79.22 points up at 65075.82.

Traders piled up positions in Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Chemicals, Rubber, Telecommunications and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Miscellaneous, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Building Materials sectors during the day.
