Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ind-Swift Labs, Parag Milk Foods, Virescent Renewable, GFL Ltd. and Electrostl Cast, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 120.9 points down at 19265.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sadhana Nitro, Penta Gold, Hotel Rugby, Yasho Industries and Zeal Global Services, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 9 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints, ONGC and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while Dr. Reddys, Adani Ports SEZ, JSW Steel, L&T and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 365.83 points down at 64886.51.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Glass, Miscellaneous, IT Enabled Services and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Agro Processing and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
