Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of VELS Film Internatio, Atul Auto, Sakar Healthcare, NGL Fine Chem and Centum Elec, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 47.55 points up at 19444.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Jio Financial Servic, Penta Gold, Rachana Infrastructu, Hotel Rugby and Drone Destination, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 213.27 points up at 65433.3.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Trading, Paper, Fertilisers and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Petrochemicals, Shipping, Building Materials and Power sectors during the day.
