Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Redtape L, Oriana Power, Vinsys IT Services, MITCON Const & Engg. and Ashapura Mine, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 114.8 points down at 19428.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as BKM Industries, Reliance Home Fin, Richa Info Systems L, Transindia Real Esta and Penta Gold, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 10 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Power Grid, Titan Company, RIL and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Divis Labs, SBI Life and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 365.53 points down at 65322.65.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Leather, Plastics, Industrial Equipment and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Packaging, Petrochemicals, Building Materials and Rubber sectors during the day.
