Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hindustan Comp, Zee Ent., Antarctica Ltd, Niraj Cement and Sabar Flex India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 89.45 points down at 19543.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tridhya Tech, Vinny Overseas, Melstar Info, Advitiya Trade India and Richa Info Systems L, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., IndusInd Bank, Adani Ports SEZ, Titan Company and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Kotak Bank, ITC, Britannia and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 307.63 points down at 65688.18.

Traders piled up positions in Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Aquaculture, Textiles and Shipping sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Building Materials, Rubber, Irrigation & Allied Services and Miscellaneous sectors during the day.
