Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of HCL Infosystems, Sakar Healthcare, Pondy Oxides, Agri-Tech(India)and Robust Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 135.35 points up at 19517.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as ASL Industries, Richa Info Systems L, Vinny Overseas, Sintex Plastics Tech and SS Infrastructure, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while SBI, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, NTPC and Maruti Suzuki ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 480.57 points up at 65721.25.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Services, Cables, Miscellaneous and Airlines sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials, Retail and Paper sectors during the day.
