Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Prakash Pipes, KSB, Jay Jalaram Tech, Indian Railway Fin and MPS Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Prakash Pipes, KSB, Jay Jalaram Tech, Indian Railway Fin and MPS Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 144.9 points down at 19381.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as ASL Industries, SMVD Poly Pack, Sintex Plastics Tech, Brookfield India Rea and UPL, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, Eicher Motors, Divis Labs and Infosys were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Titan Company, ICICI Bank, ONGC and Bajaj Finserv ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 542.1 points down at 65240.68.

Traders piled up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Irrigation & Allied Services, Telecommunications, General and Tyres sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Airlines, Industrial Equipment, Gems and Jewellery and Building Materials sectors during the day.
