Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Jain Irrigation(DVR), Indo Borax Chem, IRIS Business Servic, Remsons Ind and MSP Steel, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jain Irrigation(DVR), Indo Borax Chem, IRIS Business Servic, Remsons Ind and MSP Steel, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 97.7 points up at 19778.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Orient Bell, Sadhana Nitro, Synoptics Technologi, KKV Agro Powers Ltd. and Viji Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 33 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, ITC, Britannia, RIL and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, M&M, Tech Mahindra and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 351.49 points up at 66707.2.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Construction, Tobacco, Miscellaneous and Tyres sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Cables, Building Materials, Irrigation & Allied Services and IT - Hardware sectors during the day.
