Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Kriti Nutrients, Wendt India, Aarti Drugs, Sarveshwar Foods and Thangamayil Jew, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kriti Nutrients, Wendt India, Aarti Drugs, Sarveshwar Foods and Thangamayil Jew, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 72.65 points down at 19672.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Zee Learn, Proventus Agrocom, Setubandhan Infra, Pentagon Rubber and Drone Destination, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, IndusInd Bank, Dr. Reddys, M&M and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while ITC, Kotak Bank, Tech Mahindra, RIL and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 299.48 points down at 66384.78.

Traders piled up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Telecommunications, Sugar, Agro Processing and Cables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Tobacco, Beverages - Alcoholic, Aquaculture and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
