Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Premier Exp, Cyient DLM, Elecon Engg Co, Bharat Dynamics and Zen Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 83.5 points up at 19439.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Simplex Infra, Magson Retail & Dist, Greenchef Appliances, Cell Point(India)and Pentagon Rubber, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors, Apollo Hospital, Tata Consumer and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank and HCL Tech ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 273.67 points up at 65617.84.

Traders piled up positions in Defence, Telecommunications, Engineering, Consumer Durables and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, Irrigation & Allied Services, Media & Entertainment and FMCG sectors during the day.
