Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Genus Pwr Infra, Kore Digital, HPL Electric Power, eMudhra and Ducol Organics & Col, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 9.5 points down at 19398.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Penta Gold, Cell Point(India), Vilin Bio Med Ltd., Bombay Metrics Suppl and Bodhi Tree Multimed, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Divis Labs, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Life and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Bank, HDFC, Eicher Motors, Tata Consumer and UPL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 33.01 points down at 65446.04.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Glass, Airlines, Tobacco and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, Learning & Education, Media & Entertainment and Plastics sectors during the day.
