Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of HPL Electric Power, Swelect Energy, Aster DM Health, Kaveri Seed Co. and Kore Digital, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 66.45 points up at 19389.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bombay Metrics Suppl, Vilin Bio Med Ltd., Cell Point(India), Rajesh Exports and Viji Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Inds., Axis Bank and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 274.0 points up at 65479.05.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, NBFC, Telecommunications, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Holding Company sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, FMCG, Building Materials and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
