Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of JBM Auto, Veekayem Fashion, V-Marc India, Dhunseri Petrochem and Windsor Machine, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 154.7 points up at 18972.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ansal Prop, Penta Gold, Varanium Cloud, Urban Enviro Waste and Power & Instrument, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Adani Ports SEZ, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Life, Tech Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, M&M and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 499.39 points up at 63915.42.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, IT Enabled Services, Airlines and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, Media & Entertainment, Services and FMCG sectors during the day.
