Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rane(Madras), Prime Focus, Rane Brake Lin, FACT and V-Marc India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 126.2 points up at 18817.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Power & Instrument, Varanium Cloud, TECIL Chemicals, Shree Ram Proteins and Suumaya Lifestyle, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, Apollo Hospital, JSW Steel, SBI and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, Britannia, Tata Consumer, UPL and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 446.03 points up at 63416.03.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Airlines, IT Enabled Services and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Real Estate, FMCG, Consumer Durables and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
