Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Urban Enviro Waste Management Ltd., Spectrum Talent Management Ltd., Uttam Sugar Mil, Crayons Advertising and Blue Chip India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 85.6 points down at 18771.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Lexus Granito(India), TECIL Chemicals, Sindhu Trade, PowerGrid Infa InvIT and Cerebra Integrat, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, L&T, HDFC, HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consumer, Tata Motors and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 284.26 points down at 63238.89.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Sugar, Cables, Aquaculture and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Real Estate, FMCG, Services and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
