Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Greenlam Ind, Dynamic Cables, Jindal Drilling, Federal Mogul and V-Marc India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Greenlam Ind, Dynamic Cables, Jindal Drilling, Federal Mogul and V-Marc India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 71.15 points down at 18563.4 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Indian Energy Exchg, Rachana Infrastructu, Infollion Research, Parin Furniture and Future Supply Chain, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, Axis Bank, L&T and Adani Ent. were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, HDFC Life, Divis Labs and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 223.01 points down at 62625.63.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, Sugar, IT - Hardware and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Real Estate, Media & Entertainment, Fertilisers and Petrochemicals sectors during the day.
