Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lloyds Luxuries, Essar Shipping, Shivalik Bimetal, TBZ and Dynamic Services, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 91.85 points down at 18634.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as NIIT, Parin Furniture, GSS Infotech, Auro Impex & Chemic and Praxis Home Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, JSW Steel, ONGC, L&T and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Grasim Inds., Kotak Bank, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 294.32 points down at 62848.64.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Metals - Ferrous, Power and Construction sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Real Estate, Media & Entertainment, Miscellaneous and Tourism & Hospitality sectors during the day.
