Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of The Hi-Tech Gears, Anisha Impex, Mazagon Dock Ship, Anlon Technology Sol and Banswara Syntex, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 59.75 points up at 18593.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Viji Finance, Quicktouch Technolog, Power & Instrument, Bombay Metrics Suppl and Advitiya Trade India, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, L&T and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Nestle India and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 240.36 points up at 62787.47.

Traders piled up positions in Defence, Telecommunications, Textiles, Learning & Education and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Trading, Agro Processing, IT - Hardware and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
