Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mazda Ltd, Nucleus Soft, Voltamp Trans, Aptech and Lakshmi Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 178.2 points up at 18499.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Page Industries, Bombay Metrics Suppl, Viji Finance, Quicktouch Technolog and Jakharia Fabric, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Sun Pharma, Hindalco, Divis Labs and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Grasim Inds., Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 629.07 points up at 62501.69.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Diversified, Trading and FMCG sectors, while selling was witnessed in Apparels, General, Rubber, Gas & Petroleum and Textiles sectors during the day.
