Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kaynes Technology In, Rane(Madras), Precision Wires, Abans Holdings and Quicktouch Technolog, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 104.75 points down at 18181.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Uma Converter, Jakharia Fabric, Vasa Retail & Overse, PVR and Omkar Speciality, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 14 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, IndusInd Bank, ITC, UPL and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while Kotak Bank, Apollo Hospital, SBI Life, TCS and HCL Tech ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 371.83 points down at 61560.64.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Trading, Tea / Coffee and Tobacco sectors, while selling was witnessed in Media & Entertainment, Holding Company, Retail, Paper and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
