Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Ltd., IVP Ltd, Naga Dhunseri Group, Essel Propack and Divgi Torqtransfer, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 49.15 points up at 18315.1 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Cyber Media Research & Services Ltd., Vasa Retail & Overse, Jakharia Fabric, Innovative Tyres & T and Anisha Impex, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Life, Power Grid, BPCL and Divis Labs were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Dr. Reddys, Hindalco, Infosys and L&T ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 178.87 points up at 61940.2.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, IT - Hardware, Packaging, Glass and Infrastructure sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Cables, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Electric/Electronics and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
