NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:19AM
K.P.I. Global Infrastructure(up 4.99%), Jyoti Structures(up 4.91%), Suzlon Energy(up 4.82%), DPSC(up 3.47%), Voltamp Transformers(up 2.86%), Adani Transmissions(up 2.50%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.40%), Inox wind(up 2.15%), SJVN(up 1.50%) and Adani Power(up 1.37%) were among the top gainers.
Orient Green Power Company(down 4.97%), Indowind Energy(down 4.84%), Energy Development Company(down 2.31%), RTNPOWER(down 2.01%), Reliance Power(down 0.99%), Indo Tech Transformers(down 0.90%) and KEC International(down 0.84%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 243.55 points up at 17345.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 812.37 points at 58012.6 at around 10:19AM.
Tech Mahindra(up 5.24%), Divis Laboratories(up 3.61%), Wipro(up 3.48%), Infosys(up 3.2%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 3.06%), HCL Technologies(up 2.83%), Britannia Industries(up 2.75%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.64%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.63%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.33%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 2.83%) and Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.79%) were trading in the red.
