NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 11:15AM
Reliance Power(up 6.03%), Kalpataru Projects International(up 3.53%), NLC India(up 1.84%), Power & Instrumentation(Gujarat)(up 1.76%), DPSC(up 1.63%), Voltamp Transformers(up 1.30%), Indo Tech Transformers(up 1.27%), Inox wind(up 1.25%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 1.05%) and Inox Wind Energy(up 1.01%) were among the top gainers.
KEC International(down 3.68%), Suzlon Energy(down 2.49%), SJVN(down 2.15%), JSW Energy(down 1.45%), Hitachi Energy India(down 1.11%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures(down 0.83%), KPI Green Energy(down 0.61%), Gujarat Industries Power(down 0.57%), Jyoti Structures(down 0.54%) and Orient Green Power Company(down 0.38%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 10.4 points up at 19788.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 68.48 points at 66638.72 at around 11:15AM.
Cipla(up 9.12%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.88%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.83%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.74%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.68%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.59%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.24%), Bharti Airtel(up 0.94%), Tata Motors(up 0.66%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 0.6%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra(down 5.64%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.83%), Nestle India(down 1.88%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.51%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.76%), Grasim Industries(down 0.72%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.57%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.53%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.46%) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.45%) were trading in the red.
