Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.7% in a weak market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.7 per cent down at 1098.75.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:23AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.
Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 4.75 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.73 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.7 per cent at 1098.75 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 199.61 points at 25979.35, while the BSE Sensex was down 690.52 points at 84881.33.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, Shree Ren Sug, Tata Steel and JM Financial were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Lakshmi Finance, Vakrangee, Soma Textiles, JM Financial and Radhika Jeweltech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Revathi Equipment In, Kross L, Stampede Cap, Ankit Metal Pwr and JP Associates hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
