Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.67%
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.67 per cent down at 389.45.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Wednesday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills(up 0.83 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.55 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.05 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Godrej Properties(down 3.19 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 2.86 per cent), Sunteck Realty(down 2.68 per cent), DLF(down 2.49 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.4 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.67 per cent down at 389.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 272.4 points at 17554.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 927.74 points at 59744.98.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 3 ended in the green, while 47 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, IRB Infra Dev., Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd. and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of IRB Infra Dev., Nintec Systems Ltd., Aaron Industries, Vera Synthetic and Vinny Overseas hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while OrissaBengalCarrier, Shree Ram Proteins, Zee Learn, Kridhan Infra and Ginni Filaments hit their fresh 52-week lows.
