Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.36%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Tuesday.
Shares of Brigade Enterprises(up 3.57 per cent), Sunteck Realty(up 1.59 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.38 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Oberoi Realty(down 3.36 per cent), SOBHA(down 2.37 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 2.23 per cent), DLF(down 2.06 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.02 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.36 per cent down at 510.0.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 131.05 points at 17822.3, while the BSE Sensex stood up 445.56 points at 59744.88.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, ONGC, YES Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of G M Breweries, Arvind Fashions, Patel Eng, IG Petrochem and AksharChem Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Silgo Retail, Quadpro ITeS Ltd., Inventure Grwth and BKM Industries hit their fresh 52-week lows.
