Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.18%
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.18 per cent down at 431.25.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Wednesday.
Shares of Godrej Properties(up 0.17 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers(down 2.51 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.41 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.32 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.77 per cent) and DLF(down 1.11 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.18 per cent down at 431.25.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 187.95 points at 16605.95, while the BSE Sensex stood down 778.38 points at 55468.9.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 ended in the green, while 35 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Coal India Ltd, PNB and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Kalyani Commercials, Madhya Bharat Agro, InfoBeans Tech, GNFC and Mangalam Global Ent hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Dr. Reddys, Richa Info Systems Ltd., SoftTech Engineers, Felix Industries and Hind Nat Glass hit their fresh 52-week lows.
