Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.09% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:49AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.53 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.37 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 1.09 per cent at 800.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 278.25 points at 22266.8, while the BSE Sensex was down 923.64 points at 73688.79.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 8 were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Zomato and Manappuram Finance were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Capital Infra Trust and Laxmi Goldorna House hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shiva Mills, 8K Miles Soft, Mahindra Logistics, Ruchi Infra and Sanghvi Movers hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
