Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.06% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:15AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

DLF(up 0.35 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.25 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects(down 4.08 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 3.29 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.92 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.65 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 1.24 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 1.06 per cent at 373.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 58.35 points at 15302.25, while the BSE Sensex was down 1045.6 points at 51495.79.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SAIL, Suzlon Energy and RBL Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Kohinoor Foods, GSS Infotech and Archidply Decor hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Biofil Chem, Le Merite Exports Ltd., Team Lease Service, Kridhan Infra and Vardhman Poly hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
