Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.93% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:20AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Anant Raj Ltd.(down 3.06 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.2 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 245.46 points at 24642.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 878.95 points at 80813.03.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 5 were trading in the green, while 45 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, RattanIndia Power, Suzlon Energy and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Synergy Green Ind, Scoda Tubes, GRM Overseas, Mindspace REIT and Krishana Phoschem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shree Ram Proteins, Bluspring Enterprises Ltd., Digitide Solutions Ltd., Keerti Knowledge and Schloss Bangalore hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
