Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.88% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:04AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Godrej Properties(up 0.64 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 3.84 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.92 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.69 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.61 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.88 per cent at 406.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 21.4 points at 17690.05, while the BSE Sensex was down 85.75 points at 60138.71.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Adani Power, Tata Steel, Suzlon Energy and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Aegis Logistics, Perfect Infraenginee, Vera Synthetic, Abhishek Integrations Ltd. and RM Drip and Sprinkle hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shreeoswal Seeds, Future Supply Chain, Bartronics, Vineet Laboratories Ltd. and Agarwal Float Glass India Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
