Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.68% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Raymond Ltd.(up 0.52 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.37 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Anant Raj Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.59 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.68 per cent at 977.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 34.9 points at 25506.9, while the BSE Sensex was down 77.8 points at 83619.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, JP Power, South Indian Bnk and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Gabriel India, TN Telecom, Sai Life Science, NACL Industries and Reliance Naval & Engg hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Arisinfra Solutions, Stampede Cap(DVR), Sadhana Nitro, Raymond Realty and Setubandhan Infra hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
