Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.57% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

DLF(up 1.04 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.37 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.25 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 3.93 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.62 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.39 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.84 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.62 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.57 per cent at 400.65 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 23.45 points at 16278.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 43.31 points at 54427.36.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Campus Activewear Ltd., Zomato Ltd. and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lancer Container Lin, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Global Education, National Highways In and Madhya Bharat Agro hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Karda Const, Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd., Indostar Cap. Fin., Future Retail and Dixon Tech hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
