Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.49% in an upbeat market
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.49 per cent down at 1121.15.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:09AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.
DLF Ltd.(up 0.59 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.4 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 0.6 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.49 per cent at 1121.15 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 35.25 points at 24359.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 76.52 points at 80001.29.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, NHPC, IRFC and Rail Vikas Nigam were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mallcom(India), JHS Svendgaard Retai, SCI Land and Assets, HPL Electric Power and SCI hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while JP Associates, Burnpur Cement, SecUR Credentials, Excel Realty N Infra and Shree Ram Proteins hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
