Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.49% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:09AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.
Phoenix Mills(up 2.78 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.89 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.27 per cent), DLF(down 1.27 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.51 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.47 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.49 per cent at 444.45 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 126.65 points at 17074.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 360.65 points at 56995.96.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 5 were trading in the green, while 45 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, Adani Wilmar Ltd., Tata Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Agro Phos India, SEL Manufact, Rajratan Global, Zenith Birla and International Constructions Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Karda Const, Uma Exports Ltd., Future Retail, Future Enterprises and FutureLifestyleFash hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
