Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.44% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:44AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 1.16 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.51 per cent) and DLF(up 0.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.27 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.23 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 1.19 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.17 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.53 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.44 per cent at 409.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 78.3 points at 16211.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 287.96 points at 54466.42.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, SAIL, ONGC and Hindalco were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Apar Industries, Regency Ceramic, Hubtown Ltd, Reliable Data Servic and Kernex Microsys hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Andhra Cements, Parsvnath Dev., Viceroy Hotels, Suumaya Lifestyle and Naga Dhunseri Group hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
