Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.43% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:46AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.
Raymond Ltd.(up 1.69 per cent), Anant Raj Ltd.(up 1.23 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.71 per cent) and Lodha Developers Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.93 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.43 per cent at 970.55 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 150.41 points at 25204.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 524.85 points at 82665.43.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.
Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, PC Jeweller and IREDA were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Glenmark Pharma, Fischer Chemic, TN Telecom, Sumeet Ind and Cupid Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Roto Pumps, TECIL Chemicals, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Jindal Worldwide and N R Agarwal Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
