Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.39%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Friday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sobha Ltd.(down 3.3 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 1.83 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.39 per cent down at 586.95.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 89.25 points at 20192.35, while the BSE Sensex stood up 319.63 points at 67838.63.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 ended in the green, while 19 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, Suzlon Energy and UCO Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank, Senco Gold, Satin Creditcare, Andrew Yule and HT Media hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Penta Gold, Brookfield India Rea, Ratnaveer Precision, Dangee Dums and SS Infrastructure hit their fresh 52-week lows.
