Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.39%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.39 per cent down at 531.15.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Friday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills(up 2.89 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.57 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.22 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.01 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate(down 3.02 per cent), SOBHA(down 1.93 per cent), DLF(down 1.76 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.47 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.84 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.39 per cent down at 531.15.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 114.8 points at 19428.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 365.53 points at 65322.65.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 ended in the green, while 39 closed in the red.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, IOB, JP Power, YES Bank and Bank of Maharashtra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Redtape L, Oriana Power, Vinsys IT Services, MITCON Const & Engg. and Ashapura Mine hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while BKM Industries, Reliance Home Fin, Richa Info Systems L, Transindia Real Esta and Penta Gold hit their fresh 52-week lows.
